About the work
OA Photos

I decided to launch this site and offer my services because I genuinely love photography. Not just the shooting, but everything around it — editing, traveling, testing gear, being creative and technical at the same time.

It also decided it was time, as more and more people were approaching me for sessions. I have not advertised up until this point that I offer photography services, yet people were still coming in; this signaled to me that it was time to start.

I'm Oscar Avendano. On the weekdays I'm a professional digital marketer at a research institute. On the weekends I spend my time golfing, doing photography and traveling. In addition to photography, I also create amazing websites through OverTime Studio. You can see my web portfolio at overtimestudio.com.

Understand

Every session starts with listening. I want to know who you are, what you care about, and why these photos matter to you. Whether it’s a graduation, an engagement, or a brand shoot, understanding your personality and goals is what helps me photograph you in a way that actually feels like you.

Plan

Once we’re on the same page, I put together a clear plan. That includes location, timing, lighting, and the overall tone we’re aiming for. Planning lets us stay flexible during the shoot while still making sure nothing important gets missed. It’s how we keep things smooth, focused, and stress-free.

Deliver

After the shoot, I edit and deliver a final gallery that reflects everything we set out to capture. The goal isn’t just technically good images — it’s photos that feel honest, lived-in, and worth printing. You’ll walk away with something real, not just content.
